the barns that have been reclaimed by nature.

they are so beautiful even though they are neglected and forgotten.

...and this...

the corn that we all complain about being the "highlight" of our state.

but i love corn.

it takes great pictures.

i love indiana.

ohio this weekend. i'm hoping to get some senior-ish pictures with my pony

i really wanted to get my senior pictures taken with her since horses are such a big part of my life... but because my horse also happens to live four hours away- i guess i'll just take some of my own!

but hopefully without the snow part...

i love cooking bread. mainly quick bread. and any of my friends from ohio know that i bring banana bread EVERY weekend i come to see them :)

well i decided to switch it up a little bit...

i swear that is NOT half n half i put in there... really.

but it was SO worth it.

except that my mom made me put pecans (pee-KANS) in the bread.

hello fall

good morning fall.

it was wonderful to wake up this morning and pull these out of my closet :) today was fall cleaning!!!!! i pulled EVERYTHING out of my horse trunks in the garage... it was a mess. there was stuff everywhere. i never knew i owned so much junk!

... and here is my garage... and only half of the stuff i pulled out of the trunk. it needed to be done though. it was like a blast from the past! i found so many old things that i haven't seen for years! plus... my mom cleaned out some tubs of clothes- from the 80's and 90's- it was hysterical; i'll put photos of that up some other time.

who knew that i would be rolling wraps this weekend. i mean, it's a normal happening in ohio on the weekends... laundry, laundry, laundry. But i honestly think i rolled more wraps today than i do most weekends.

my Grace. i've had her since i was in third grade. it's so sad to look at these pictures and see all the white on her face and still remember her as a little puppy. at the same time, she is still so lively and full of happiness; that makes me feel better.

surprise! times three!

tonight was exciting!

originally, i was under the impression that we were having a surprise birthday party for my friend ali. of course i was not suspicious at all... i've never had a surprise party so i didn't even think about it. well ali picked me up and i thought i was being all sneaky- she thought the party was for our other friend sam... i sat there and laughed to myself- ali had no idea!!

wrong.

we got to catablu (amazingness redefined) and it was a "surprise" for all of us!!!

there were three small cakes on the table; one for each of us- it was so much fun. i would love to write more but it's so late and i HAVE to wake up and study in the morning. high school...
